Flung Pianos
Apparently during the 1990s there was quite the trend of tossing pianos with catapults, this occurred on multiple occasions for a tv show called 'Northern Exposure'. This article says there were 9 pianos thrown for the single shot used at the end of the episode 'Burning Down the House'! Very extravagant indeed... And interesting that not a single Grand Piano was used.
